New Jury For the Crybaby: Judge Stephens Aims for Late September Death Penalty Retrial Date

CRYBABY UPDATE...here we freakin' go again!!!

In their usual "we can't get our shit together" fashion, the defense whined to Judge Stephens and she is giving the attorneys additional time to file motions. This morning's hearing lasted less than an hour. No cameras were allowed--too bad because I wanted to see Crybaby in her lovely prison stripes sporting her shackles! I'm guessing that she had heavily armed guards by her side in case someone tried to take her out. Now that wouldn't be a big shocker.

"Arias was escorted into the courtroom, wearing shackles and dressed in striped jail clothes, by three heavily armed deputies, one carrying a shotgun." (Source: CBS News)

So here's the scoop on this morning's hearing:

Judge Stephens gave the whiner defense team (Willmot and Nurmi) until August 5 to file their motions to support their arguments. I'd like to know WHAT arguments--that Crybaby doesn't deserve the death penalty because she feels remorse? Like that's ever going to happen!!! Crazy Eyes has never showed one iota of remorse for the brutal murder of Travis Alexander! She set another conference status for August 26.

Of course, Judge Stephens is going the wussy route and won't set a "firm retrial date" for the death penalty because too many factors are involved. Uhmmm you mean, like Crybaby has already been convicted of pre-meditated murder 1 and deserves the death penalty?

Who knows what's going to play out in September? Juan Martinez is still going after the death penalty but the State also made this statement:

"Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery has said the state is still preparing to seek the death penalty again for Arias, but would consider resolving the case without another trial after consultation with the victim's family and defense lawyers, among other things." (CBS News)

Either way, Jodi Arias is looking at a long time behind bars in her prison stripes in her small jail cell where she resides 23 hours a day.

Justice for Travis--my heart is with to the Alexander Family. Enough is enough!

Clang, Clang, Clang: Arias Shackled & Cuffed in Court Room Last Week

Hi Lady Justice Fighters!
I've been battling a bad cold (maybe the aftermath of all the bad ju-ju post-Crybaby's trial?) but wanted to share a brief update about what's going on with Crazy Eye Crybaby, Jodi Scarias!

How many of us were happy to see Ms. Brawler (yup, she got busted for attacking someone in jail- wow, what a shocker!) to see Crybaby in her prison stripes with shackles and handcuffed? No more circa-90s outfits for the Crazy-Eyed Crybaby. I know I was quite happy to see her in prison stripes--it's about damn time!

Unfortunately, everyone is due back in court - of course, another delay as the Crybaby and her defense team tries to buy time - on July 18 to determine if Crazy Eyes will face a new jury in the retrial of the death penalty phase.

Why I Refused to Watch the Lifetime Movie
I know many of you tuned into the Jodi Arias movie, but I personally thought it was a big slap in the face to the Alexander family so I boycotted and refused to watch it. Even if they didn't paint Travis in a bad light, I am tired of this convicted murderer getting MORE publicity and air time.

Her crazy ass is behind bars and whether she does get convicted of the death penalty or not, she is not going anywhere. She will rot behind bars no matter what due to the fact that she is guilty, guilty, guilty (are you listening Kool-Aid drinkers? the guilt factor isn't going away!)

I hope she enjoys her luxurious stay (not!) in the Maricopa County jail locked in a tiny cell, 23 hours a day, by herself. She can keep herself entertained with bad renditions of Christmas carols and Dido songs.

No More Interviews...Wah Wah
The media spotlight faded fast and all eyes are turned to the Trayvon Martin trial on HLN (another very sad case!) and wahhhh, no more interviews for the Crybaby--not anymore (that privilege was yanked when she was thrown in her jail cell for 23 hours a day!) Although, it goes back to what I mentioned above about the Jodi Arias movie. Why give her added publicity she doesn't deserve? She's a cold-blooded murderer. This isn't a soap opera--this is about a young man's life that was brutally taken by a psychotic demon-ess. Lifetime needs to write a big fat check to the Alexander family and stop profiting off Travis' murder. The story is NOT about Jodi Arias--the story is about Travis Alexander and that's the story that needs to be told. I didn't watch it but I heard that they didn't paint Train Wreck in a positive light--duhh, obviously not, but still...why continue to support "her" story and give her added exposure? No thanks, I'll pass on that.

So now it's just a waiting game...stay tuned! We have another month to go to see if there will be a retrial for her death penalty phase. Justice continues to be served for Travis and Juan won't go down without a big fight!!!  My thoughts are with the Alexander Family right now--they continue to relive this nightmare every day (and that dumb movie didn't help either!). I hope they can find some peace in their hearts.

Travis' Brother and Sister, Steven & Samantha Alexander, Share Emotional, Heartwrenching Pain & Sorrow During Victim Statements

Today was an emotional, heartbreaking day in court. I was sobbing when Steven and Samantha read their personal statements today in court. Their words left me in an emotional state and I couldn't stop crying - even after their statements were concluded there were tears in my eyes and a heaviness in my heart. I kept thinking - no family member should ever have to deal with this living hell. No one should EVER have to hear those words: your brother is dead. I am from a big family and I can't even imagine if this happened to one of my siblings.

They were very brave and strong to stand up in court and share their very deep and personal pain. They shared stories of how Steven's marriage was ruined and how he had horrible nightmares about Travis' death and nightmares that he and his wife and daughter were stabbed, and how he can't sleep alone in the dark anymore. Their family has been ripped apart and how the Alexander family members have all suffered physically and mentally as a result of Travis' murder. It was heart wrenching to hear about Travis' Grandma and how her health suffered and she eventually passed away due to the pain of losing Travis. They ALL have suffered and now it's time for this murdering psychopath to suffer and pay for her crime of murder in the first degree--premeditation.

These words from Steven are what really got to me:

"How much did he suffer? How much did he scream? What was the last thing he saw before his eyes closed? What was the final thought in his head?"

My heart broke for Samantha when she described how her brother's throat was slit ear to ear and how her sister, Tanisha, screamed on the phone to her that Travis was dead.

Crybaby's waterworks were an utter joke and FAKE FAKE FAKE! She was only fake crying for herself  and why is she turning on the dramatic act now? I don't believe that this monster has one iota of genuine remorse or feelings of guilt in her cold-blooded body. The jurors didn't shed tears (not sure how they could keep it together--I would have been bawling) but the male jurors couldn't make eye contact with Steven as he talked--I think Steven's words really got to them.

I was really pissed off when I found out that Steven's and Samantha's statements had to be "approved" by the defense, yet Crybaby's family and friends can plead and beg for Crybaby's life? But the Alexander family can't yell and scream at her for the horrific brutality that she caused, and all the pain and suffering she caused for Travis family. But Samantha gave major dagger eyes to Crybaby as she passed by the defense table and she also glared at Kool-Aid drinker Donovan.

BOMBSHELL: Nurmi & Willmott Beg the Judge to Get Them Out NOW

The dumfense begged Judge Stephens to let them off the case - sorry, they are stuck with Hodi until the death penalty verdict is read (and I am confident she will get the death penalty). I also heard today that Crybaby was planning a press junket until Judge Stephens squashed all TV interviews until the death penalty hearing is completed. I guess she is more concerned about TV interviews rather than trying to save her life - woot woot, Crazy Train -- alllll aboard!!!!

Two witnesses, ex-boyfriend Darryl Brewer and Crybaby's trashy friend, Patty, sporting her nasty Daisy Dukes gave their statements today. They didn't want to be on camera so their statements were given behind closed doors this afternoon. What would you say about a cold-blooded killer? "I really like her forged crappy doodles and she has greasy bangs!"

I want to leave you with Steven's gut-wrenching words about what Satan's Spawn did to his brother:

"I don't want these nightmares anymore. I don't want to see my brother's murderer anymore."

"He was brutally ripped out of this world...my world...hopefully, some day I can make him proud."

JUSTICE FOR TRAVIS - mark my words, Jodi Arias, YOU WILL get the death penalty!

Court resumes next Monday at 10 AM / MT

Time to Pay the Piper: Fate of Jodi Arias' Life In Hands of 12 Jurors as Deliberations Begin

I won't waste too much time and energy on Kurt Nurmi, the slug of all slug defense lawyers, today. His closing argument was literally the WORST closing argument in a murder trial in the the history of the U.S. legal system. Yes, that's how bad it was.

Snoozefest of a Closing Argument Filled with Of Course, The Usual Lies & Slanderous BS

Basically, his closing argument was filled with illogical BS and lies - it turned into a game of "Choose Your Own Murder Scenario." Oh yeah, and we can't forget his lame statement of "fear, love, lies and dirty little secrets." He got the LIES part right, but the rest was a big fat joke.

He made up all kinds of craziness that bordered on conspiracy theories (oh yeah, she got those gas cans from a DIFFERENT Walmart that wasn't in Salinas - oh, heck no!). I was waiting to hear about the blood cult Mormons!

As Juan Martinez pointed out, Nurmi spewed out arguments with NO REAL facts or evidence to support the drivel coming out of his mouth. Of course, he HAD to play the recorded phone sex conversation AGAIN and had to point out that Travis was a pedophile, he called Crybaby bad dirty names, sexually assaulted her, he forced her to have sex when she didn't want to, she was abused, etc. Of course, he dragged Travis' name through the mud and paint Crybaby (who cried more fake tears today) as the perpetual victim/martyr/Madonna/St. Crazy Train. His closing argument should have been called: Nurmi Grasping at Straws. There is no way Nurmi could even come close to the powerhouse known as Juan Martinez - not even in the same league!

Nurmi's House of Cards Come Tumbling Down
But why would we be surprised that Nurmi would end on such a lethargic snoozefest of an anti-climatic note? He tried to get out of defending Crybaby numerous times throughout the trial so he's not really in-it to win-it. He told the jury that either they could believe Martinez's House of Cards or believe the defense aka lies aka conspiracy theories.  Really, Nurmi? You really want to go there when Martinez exposed ALL OF Crybaby's lies yesterday?

I wonder what it feels like to stand up, in a court of law, and have no soul and blatantly lie through your teeth. But then again, Nurmi is used to lying on behalf of his crappy clients since he defends the scum of the Earth--sex offenders and rapists.

But I wasn't worried - the State/Juan Martinez had the last word (yeah, in your face, Crazy Train Defense Team - no last word for you!) and once again, Martinez made a very emphatic point that Travis was "slaughtered" by Jodi Arias. She killed him not only ONCE but three times over. And she not only shot him but she brutally stabbed him in the heart, stabbed him another 28 times and slit his throat. She wanted him dead - there was no doubt about that. And why do we know that? A little thing called proof. More specifically, forensics evidence!

Jurors Head into Deliberations - Friday Afternoon
Three jurors were taken out of the line-up and they will remain as alternates for the other 12 jurors. Late this afternoon  the 12 jurors went behind closed doors and began deliberations to discuss the fate of Crybaby's life: will she get 1st degree murder (the death penalty)? It could be a long evening for the jurors and they have a big job to do.

Oh, Those Crazy Dagger Stares
I could tell Crazy Eyes Crybaby was in full-blown desperation mode today, especially as she listened to Juan Martinez. In his final closing words, he basically called her a lying, manipulative, calculating, sociopathic, cold-blooded murderess--more or less. She shook her head often in response to Martinez and even mouthed the word "bullsh**". Not very ladylike of Miss Mormon-Soon-to-Be-on-Death-Row. Her entourage made a special appearance - Aunt and Mom were seated, as usual, in the front (aka the Lipless Twins) and her #1 Kool-Aid Drinking Fan, Donavan, was hanging onto every word. Donavan was probably tweeting out hate notes to Martinez on behalf of Crybaby.

It's been a LONG few months. This trial began in January and despite the fervor and media hype surrounding this trial, let's remember the REAL victim - A caring, vibrant man named Travis Alexander. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a friend, and a mentor. My heart goes out to the Alexander Family.

Juan Martinez referenced a famous quote by John Donne at the very end of his closing words today. Please reflect upon these words.

This powerful quotes shows how we are all connected as human beings. It has been argued by scholars that these famous lines by Donne give us a mystical definition of mortality. Donne says that perhaps when "one dies, all of us die a little."

"Perchance he for whom this bell tolls may be so ill, as that he knows not it tolls for him; and perchance I may think myself so much better than I am, as that they who are about me, and see my state, may have caused it to toll for me, and I know not that."

When Travis Alexander was murdered at the hands of Jodi Arias, there was an absence felt in this world as a result of his death. Even though I never met Travis, I feel the emptiness in our world because he's not in it anymore - especially when I watch his silly, funny videos or look at photos of him laughing, smiling, and goofing around with his friends and family.

As Juan Martinez said yesterday - these were the most prophetic words that Travis ever spoke:  "You are the worst thing that has ever happened to me." Unfortunately, that statement became a vicious and brutal reality on June 4, 2008.

May the "light of truth" shine upon the jurors right now as they deliberate the verdict, and may justice prevail for Travis Victor Alexander - a young man whose  beautiful and soulful light was extinguished far too soon.

May the jurors examine and analyze all the evidence carefully, and realize that they cannot base their verdict on a pack of lies (the defense) but on the "light of the truth" that was brought beaming into the courtroom by Juan Martinez.

I know there will be Justice for Travis very soon!!

"To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are..."

Cross Exam Continues: Jail is Boring Says Biased Defense Witness LaViolette

As much as I love to hear Juan Martinez rail on hostile witness. Alyce LaViolette, I tuned out to her drivel on the stand. There were numerous times when LaViolette wouldn't answer the question, was defensive and sarcastically referred to Martinez as "Mr. Martinez" in a very demeaning, snarky way. Does that ring a bill? Looks like Team Jodi in action - first, we had to listen to Crybaby herself (which was a painful few weeks) and then Dick Samuels and now this very biased "expert" witness. I don't know why Judge Stephens hasn't held her in contempt of court. Martinez asked the judge many times to make her answer the question because she was being unresponsive. I'm sure the defense coached her on how to attempt to get under Martinez's skin but after today, it looks like Martinez bats 10 and LaViolette bats zero.

Unbelievable Comment of the Afternoon: "Jail is Boring"

Martinez worked his usual prosecutor's magic and slipped her up every chance he got - between her lack of credibility and her bias towards Arias. Martinez brought up the good 'ole "why did you send her books in jail?" questioning today. Oh poor Alyce LaViolette, she felt so sorry for poor Crybaby that she had to send her books because...wait for it..."jail is boring." Ohhhh wah, I'm sorry that jail isn't a five star luxury resort complete with free Wi-Fi acces. Are you freakin' kidding me? I laughed when she made that comment. Well, there is a simple solution to that - don't murder someone in the first place and then you won't find yourself in jail. The last time I checked jail was a place where people did time for a crime...you know like slashing someone with a knife 29 times and shooting someone...and slitting a person's throat until they are almost decapitated.

Once again, the spotlight focuses on Crybaby Arias - the real victim is TRAVIS!!

She Didn't Want to Invade Jodi Arias' Personal Space...Can You Say Biased?

I'll say this once again - Arias' diaries are ONE BIG FAKE! Oh poor Crybaby, LaViolette had to actually do her job and read her diaries and personal texts and emails and she felt so bad that she apologized to Arias for invading her personal space. The day she murdered Travis Alexander is the day she lost ANY and ALL of her personal space. Not to mention, LaViolette was reading Arias' concocted fiction (especially those journals) based on her psychotic lies.

Also, what is up with court starting so late? It's called stop wasting taxpayers' money, defense!

My summary of the day: Juan rocked it as usual and LaViolette was fumbling and stumbling and she also had bits of "foggy" memory throughout the day. Another big whine fest from Wilmott and I don't know what was up with Nurmi half the day - he looked lost in La-La land.

Stay tuned tomorrow as Martinez continues to cross-examine LaViolette. I hope she gets off the stand soon because I'm tired of hostile testimony and she needs to get over herself like yesterday. She is NOT all that and a bag of chips! It's clearly obvious she does not like men questioning her (hmmm doe THAT sound familiar?) and most definitely, she does NOT like Martinez but Martinez handled Arias and Dick Samuels with his usual guts and gusto, so he can definitely handle her snarky 'tude.

Dedicated to Travis Alexander: A Call for Peace & The Fight for Justice

This goes out to Travis Alexander, his family, and to ALL victims of crimes whose lives were cut short by violence. To John Walsh. To Mark Klaas. To Nicole Brown Simpson's and Ron Goldman's family. To Christie Wilson's and Lacey Peterson's family...to Caylee Anthony and all the lesser known murder cases that don't make it into the media spotlight. This is for Theresa in my Facebook group whose daughter was murdered.

I wish peace and love to Travis Alexander's family and to ALL families of crime victims. I could never possibly know what it feels like, but I hope they can eventually find peace and solace in their hearts.

The song below has touched me on a very personal level. As we reflect and think about Travis Alexander - a man many of us never had the privilege of knowing or talking to or joking with - I ask you to really think about what we can do to collectively support crime victims and their families.

There has been a lot of trolling attacks happening on Facebook and Twitter by those people who support the defendant, Jodi Arias. These supporters have forgotten who was killed -- the real victim is Travis Alexander. Freedom of speech allows us to voice our opinions in a public space but this circus has gone beyond just voicing an opinion.

This has now turned into a hate fest and people have forgotten what this is all about - it's about stopping violence -- to shed light on the fact that murder is NOT okay. One individual does not have the RIGHT to shoot, stab or slash another human being.

According to the CDC, there are over 16,000 homicides per year in the United States.
There needs to be a change in this world - a call for peace. A call for violence to end and brutality to stop. I may rant on this blog but there is a purpose behind my words. It is my hope to give innocent victims, who can no longer protect themselves or fight, a real voice.

I may be just one woman but I can't and won't sit around and NOT do or say anything. The cattiness and the attacks against Travis and his family (and those who support him and his family) won't solve anything. People have lost sight of the BIGGER issue - and these slings won't solve the very real issue that affects each and every one of us.

Would it be a different story if these supporters had a brother, sister, son, daughter, husband, wife, or grandchild who was brutally killed? How would they feel?

This trial is about the innocent victim, Travis Alexander - a real human being who was a son, a brother, a grandson, and a friend. He is more than just a crime scene photo or a murder statistic in the United States. He deserves respect and most importantly, he deserves the right to a fair and just trial. I send my personal thanks to Juan Martinez for stepping in and valiantly fighting to give Travis his voice back.

So take a few minutes...find a quiet place and just let this song and words of the poem sink into your heart. This is my favorite rendition of the song and I love this poem by Maya Angelou.

Here is the link to "I Can Only Imagine"

Maya Angelou "Amazing Peace"

"Until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other's welfare, social justice can never be attained." - Helen Keller

If Travis Alexander Had His Day in Court - What Would He Say to Jodi Arias?

I decided to give Travis a REAL voice in my blog today. I'm fed up - beyond fed up - with the stunts pulled by Arias and her whiny defense! Nurmi whined about Martinez's "misconduct" because he posed for pictures with his fans. They even put HLN reporter Jean Cesarez on the stand about a bogus statement she made about a juror - so ridiculous and another sad attempt by Nurmi to diss on Martinez. He's just jealous that Martinez is a rock star and the defense needs security escorts when they leave court - enough said!

Martinez would be the LAST person to do anything to put the trial in jeopardy. I'm also tired of the same BS that was brought up by domestic violence expert, LaViolette - more sex details, more lies about Arias being the victim, and the last straw was watching Arias' mom and aunt wearing purple domestic violence ribbons. What a mockery and they SHOULD not be allowed to wear those ribbons, especially since Travis' supporters was asked NOT to wear the blue ribbons.

I'm SO tired of her whining about only getting 2600 calories per day and her complaints about her fake migraine. Cry me a freakin' river!

So that's it!!! I'm fed up today! It's time to give Travis Alexander a voice - I'm tired of the media and Arias slandering his name!

...Trial resumes next Tuesday. I need the break.

So Travis...it's his turn - what would he say? I dedicate the following to Travis - the real victim!!!

I never abused Jodi Arias.

She was a willing party in our sex life. I was a normal, healthy 30 year old man. Yes, maybe our fantasies were a bit unusual and not the norm, and I'm sorry that I didn't make the best decisions but I realize the errors of my ways. I'm not perfect and I did my best to lead a good life.

I never ever abused Jodi Arias nor any of my past girlfriends. I did not sexually, emotionally, verbally or physically abuse Jodi Arias. I never choked her, threw her down, nor did I break her finger. She was the abuser, not me. She was a willing participant when it came to sex. She was very sexually manipulative and used her sexuality to get her way--and she used men long before our contact. She's the one who introduced me to all these sexual exploits and she initiated many of our calls and texts.

This was my first experience with sexual fantasies and maybe I got carried away, but that does NOT mean I abused her in any way. It was very consensual between us! I also never gave her permission to tape our phone sex conversation - I had no idea she taped it!

She wrecked my BMW twice but did you see me get angry? No. I loaned her money and never asked for it back. I was going to sell her my car. She slashed my tires but I didn't press charges. How is that abusive? I did nothing but help her - I don't know why I did but I was brought up to help those less fortunate!

Also, where were the photos of her abuse? There weren't any photos because she lied about everything!

Jodi Arias stalked me.

She slashed the tires on my BMW twice and slashed the tires of my girlfriend. I told her, in no uncertain terms, to stay out of my life and to leave my girlfriend alone. She couldn't take NO for an answer.

She crawled through my doggie door, spied on me through my windows, and watched me - in MY HOME - when I was with another woman. I told her to leave and told her she was not welcome yet she slept under the Christmas tree. My friends told her to leave their home but she continued to stay even when she was told to get out of my friend's home. How is that sane behavior? She was a psychotic stalker and that's why I ended my contact with her.

Why did she drive thousands of miles to see me? We were broken up and I had moved on but she continued to just show up at my door in the middle of the night - unannounced. That's not normal, sane behavior. She was most definitely a stalker!

Jodi Arias was selfish, a narcissist, and only cares about herself.

I realized, after the fact, that she only converted to Mormonism for her own selfish purposes - she wanted to snag me as a husband but I saw the light. That's why I broke off the relationship - and honestly, it wasn't a relationship. She wasn't my girlfriend and I never told her this was a serious relationship. She took it way more seriously and I never told her I wanted to get married. I may have joked about it but was NEVER serious! She's delusional.

I wanted a decent woman in my life who would be a faithful and loving partner. Arias possessed none of those qualities. I tried to live my life in the best way possible and I may not have made the best choices by going out with her (which I regret now!), she was psychotic and her behavior was unstable, immature and freaky! My friends hated her and warned me about her and that's why I got away from that psycho stalker!

I meant what I said when I told her that I was nothing more than a dildo with a heartbeat to her. She was cold-blooded and she didn't care about me. The only person she ever cared about or loved was Jodi Arias!

I am NOT a pedophile!

She created those lies to use as blackmail against me and to ruin my reputation because she was jealous and wanted to ruin my life and my rep with the LDS Church. As you can see per my computers that were searched by the police, I never had ANY porn related to children on my computer nor did I have any pictures of naked women.

She is a liar -  everything out of her mouth is a BIG LIE!!!

To Travis - you may not be physically with us but your spirit lives within all of us who are fighting for justice for you! And we'll continue to fight! Your life was NOT lived in vain!

Arias Trial Turns Into a Three Ring Circus: Martinez vs. Samuels vs. Wilmot

Before I start my rip-fest into the horrible defense "expert witness" and the three-ring circus defense today, I want to thank all the awesome people in my Facebook group who want justice for Travis Alexander. We have a lively and supportive discussion every day concerning the trial. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my blog (and all my Twitter followers who read my blog - thanks so much!)

On a more serious note, I want to point out that I write these blogs to honor Travis Alexander's memory and in the fight for justice for Travis and his family. I believe in the U.S. court system and I hope that the jury sees through the lies of Jodi Arias.

Martinez continued his cross-exam of the bumbling fool, paper-shuffling Samuels. It was all about the boobs and butt again. Martinez continued to show that Samuels did NOT do the job he was hired to do. Martinez continued to prove his incompetency and that he's NOT a credible expert witness.

Fun fact about the trial: Samuels was paid $250/hour for this sham of an "expert" defense testimony. If I were an Arizona taxpayer I'd want my money back. I wouldn't pay this joker two cents an hour for his worthless testimony.

The T & A Testimony

First, The Boobs
Martinez questioned Samuels about the story (aka LIE) that Arias told him about finding "many" breast photos on Travis' computer. Yeah, right! Samuels claimed he didn't follow up on her story because he didn't find it relevant. Martinez slammed him about the naked pictures. And big surprise! The authorities did NOT FIND breast photos on Travis' computer.

When asked why he didn't follow up about the photos to corroborate her "story" (aka LIE), Samuels replied,"I saw it irrelevant to the case." Oh, okay! Samuels pretty much made it clear that her lies were totally irrelevant in his psych eval of Arias. He just overlooked those minor "inconsistencies" because they were simply irrelevant. Yeah, no big deal, it's not like this is a murder trial or anything.

Second, The Butt

Martinez also picks apart what Arias tells Samuels about her experience with anal sex- that Travis was the only person she had anal sex with. On the stand, she told a different story - that she had anal sex with other boyfriends before Travis. More inconsistencies and lies!

Third, Arias' Sex Life Was Ruined
We also learned from Samuels that Arias blamed Travis for ruining her sex life--technically, it was the trauma surrounding murdering Travis. I gagged when I heard that. Yup, can you say psychotic narcissist?

Oh, The Irony of #69
Another inconsistency that Martinez exposed (that caused Dr. Doofus to get red-faced and testy) was the fact that Arias scored 69 on the PTSD scale (I couldn't make that up even if I tried!). According to the base rate score for PTSD, 69 is far below the 75 to 85 range for the PTSD diagnosis so basically, like we all suspected...she has Pretend Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Arias Wore a Sweater...Huh?!
Another fun fact we learned today: Arias told Samuels that when she got away and was running down the hall that Travis grabbed her sweater. Huh, WHAT sweater?! This is the first time we heard about Arias wearing a sweater. Wonder how that works? I tend not to wear sweaters in the sweltering heat, especially in the Arizona desert. It was June and in the high 90s in Mesa on June 4th. She was wearing a sweater? I don't think so!

My Psych Eval of Samuels: Anger Management Issues...With a Side of Amnesia

Martinez continued to chew Samuels up and spit him out on the stand today. Samuels became really belligerent and combative to the point that Martinez repeatedly told Judge Stephens that he was unresponsive and wouldn't answer his questions.  And he was having foggy memory issues. It was definitely a three ring circus today!

The best zinger from Martinez - when Samuels attempted to turn the tables on him and ask Martinez questions:

"I ask the questions! Do you understand that?"

Ohhhh no he didn't...oh YES, he did! Stick that in your incompetent, paper-pushing pipe and smoke it, Samuels!

Arias Was Not Assertive and Displayed Only 'Mild' Anger

Samuels was adamant that Arias was NOT assertive per her journal entry about Travis. Samuels says that a person can't be assertive just from a statement made in a journal so based on his assessment, he "speculated" that she wasn't an assertive person in real life. Wrong!! She was very assertive when she killed Travis AND had the gall to tell Martinez that he didn't ask questions "correctly." Narcissists are definitely assertive -  they want to be in control at all times.

Based on his shoddy, skewed test results, Samuels concluded that Arias exhibited "mild anger." I guess she was only "mildly" angry when she stabbed Travis 29 times, slit his throat and shot him!

Lots of Speculating Going on Today!

Samuels did a LOT of speculating and "hypothesizing" today...you know those things that are not based on FACTS! Martinez nailed him over and over again on his "speculations."

Martinez: So you speculated? So that means you made it up then?
Samuels (smoke blowing out of his ears and red-faced): NO! CLINICAL JUDGEMENT SIR!

Then a few minutes later: Okay, maybe...yes, I did speculate.

Wilmot Continues Her Whine Fest Today - Wahhh, No More Speaking Objections, Martinez

I lost interest in Wilmot's redirect today because she kept asking the SAME questions over and over...and over and over AGAIN! The afternoon consisted of far too many side bars, Wilmot's whiny objections...blah blah blah...more of Samuels' lame testimony...blah blah. She continued to grate on my nerves and I tuned her out.

Samuels attempted to make a lame excuse as to why he sent her a self-esteem book (why would you send a book to a killer who doesn't suffer from low self-esteem? Duh!!) Either way you cut it, it is INAPPROPRIATE to send a criminal a gift in jail! Enough said!

Wilmot's favorite thing to say today...and it wasn't about raindrops and roses either.

Wilmot to Martinez: That's a speaking objection. Wah. Wah.

I really hope the judge completely throws out Samuels' testimony because he is fraud and a complete joke, and he's wasted a lot of taxpayer's time AND money!! He makes forensics psychologists look BAD.

On Wednesday, Court doesn't start until 1 pm MST/ 4 pm EST. They are always running late so they probably won't get started until 1:30 pm MST / 4:30 pm EST.
